Things to Pack for a Cruise in one of Our Lady Lake, FL, Apartments

One of the most wonderful things about living in Florida is that there are many different cruise ports, and no matter where you reside in the state, a cruise port is sure to be close to you. In fact, Port Canaveral, where many cruise ships sail in and out of, is less than two hours away from The Quarters Apartment Homes. Going on a cruise can be an exciting experience. There are new lands to explore, and adventures to go on.

But before any of that happens, cruisers first have to pack for their vacations! And, for anyone who has not yet been on a cruise, it can be a little confusing to know what to pack. That is why we’ve created a list of the top ten items to pack before embarking on a cruise:

• Sunscreen

• Camera

• Beach tote

• Bathing suit and cover-up

• At least one nice evening wear outfit

• Medication (if necessary)

• Passport or driver’s license, or some other form of identification

• Flip flops

• Chargers for all electronics (think cell phones, e-books, laptops, cameras, etc.)

• Reading material

Now, there certainly are other items you should pack, including clothes to wear around the ship, while stopped in a port of call, and during the evening for dinner. The above list is simply a stepping stone to creating a more personalized cruise packing list.

Our Lady Lake, Florida, apartments are beautiful and come in professionally designed color schemes to convey a feeling of individuality and sophistication. They feature nine-foot ceilings with crown molding, appliances in bisque, oversized maple and oak kitchen cabinets, and spacious pantries.
