Taking a trip to watch an Orlando Magic basketball game can be a fun and exciting experience for people of all ages. Here are some tips for sports fans who decide that they want to go see the Magic play.

Leave early – Magic games are very popular and there tends to be a lot of traffic as you approach the exit. Leaving at least two hours before tip-off should give area residents enough time to fight traffic and find a parking spot.

Eat before you get there – Eating inside of the Amway Center can be expensive, especially for an entire family. Fortunately, the arena is located in the heart of downtown Orlando with a wide variety of restaurants for visitors to choose from before they head to the game.

Look out for Stuff the Magic Dragon – The Magic’s mascot is a big green dragon named Stuff who can be seen running throughout the Arena performing stunts and engaging with fans. He is known for his long distance backwards shots, performing backflips off of a ladder and dunking the ball, jumping off of a trampoline to dunk the ball, and many other entertaining tricks.

Don’t miss the halftime show – You never know what halftime will bring, but it is sure to be entertaining. From a woman who rides a unicycle while balancing plates on her head to a man who can bend his body in extraordinary ways, halftime is always a must-see.
